WINFORD INTERNATIONAL - INSPIRE TO ASPIRE
EQUIPPING - ENRICHING - EMPOWERING
INTEGRITY - RESPECT - RESPONSIBILITY - GROWTH MINDSET
Winford International, as an online school is committed to offering a quality education, and recognises that each student is unique and has distinct learning requirements. While we aim to accommodate as many students as possible, we acknowledge that not everyone may be a good fit for our courses. The purpose of this short text is to illustrate why Winford International may not be the ideal option for some students.
Prospective students without a clear learning objective may find it difficult to obtain the greatest value from our courses. Our programmes are intended to assist students attain particular learning outcomes and objectives. Without a clear grasp of their goals, students may find it challenging to keep up with the speed of the course and to remain motivated. Consequently, it may be more useful for students who are confused about their learning objectives to investigate alternative possibilities.
The courses offered by Winford International require a minimum of two classes each week. While we recognise that students have busy schedules, we think that frequent practice is necessary for mastery of any skill. Students who cannot devote enough time to studying may find it difficult to keep up with the course content, which might lead to dissatisfaction, demotivation and disconnect.
The third requirement of our courses is that students set aside time each week for individual study at home. This requires students to be disciplined and dedicated to reinforcing course knowledge via practise and review. Students who battle with procrastination or apathy may find it difficult to maintain this level of dedication and may not receive the full benefits of our courses.
In conclusion, despite our best efforts to serve as many students as possible, Winford International may not be the ideal choice for everyone. Prospective students who lack a specific learning objective, are overly busy, have trouble allocating sufficient time to study or committing to a minimum of two lessons per week, are unable to set aside time each week for independent learning at home, and/or are prone to procrastination or inertia may find it difficult to derive maximum benefit from our courses. We advise these children/students/parents to investigate alternatives that better suit their needs and learning styles!
