How long will it take for me to become fluent?
Everyone's journey to fluency is different. It can depend on how often you practice, your previous language learning experiences, and how much you immerse yourself in the language.
How can I improve my listening skills?
Practising listening through English podcasts, music, or movies can help. We will also include listening exercises in our lessons.
What strategies can help me expand my vocabulary?
Expanding your vocabulary involves regular reading and practice. Try to learn and use a few new words every day.
How can I practise English outside of lessons?
Engage in English as much as possible. Watch English movies, read English books, and try to find language exchange partners.
What are some effective methods to improve my pronunciation?
We'll work on pronunciation during our lessons, and there are many online resources you can use for additional practice.
How can I become more comfortable with English conversation?
Practice makes you better. Start with simple conversations and gradually challenge yourself with more complex topics.
What are some tips for understanding native speakers better?
Regular exposure to the language helps. Listen to different English accents and speeds, and don't be afraid to ask for clarification.
How can I overcome my fear of speaking English?
It's normal to be nervous. Start by speaking slowly and clearly, and remember that making mistakes is a part of learning.
How often should I study English outside of lessons?
Ideally, you should aim for a little bit of English practice every day. This could be studying grammar, reading, or even listening to English music.
What English books would you recommend for my level?
I'll recommend books according to your current level. For a beginner, something like "Charlotte's Web" could be a good start.
What should I do to prepare for IELTS/TOEFL exams?
We will incorporate exam practice into our lessons, and there are also many resources online to help with this.
How can I improve my English writing skills?
We will have writing exercises during our classes, and I recommend writing in English in your free time, such as keeping a journal.
How can I improve my grammar?
We will go over grammar in detail in our lessons, and I recommend grammar workbooks for extra practice.
How can I understand English slang and idioms?
We will cover common slang and idioms in class, and I suggest watching English films and TV shows to better understand informal language.
What English-language movies or TV shows would you recommend for learning?
Depending on your English level, series like "Friends" or "The Crown" are great for learning as they cover different types of English and contexts.
